I moved into this apartment community in May 2013. Having never lived in an apartment before, I didn't realize at the time how nice things really are compared to other apartment communities until it came time to move. I really did not want to move! The little things: beautiful perennial landscaping is lush and well maintained; built-in microwave ovens save on countertop space; large laundry rooms to pile up dirty clothes when you don't have time to get it done; wide parking spaces and plenty of them; large trees to provide shade and screen your view (in the event your view is a parking lot); free dog wash area, car wash and vacuum area; huge, well maintained pool with a separate hot tub; bbq grills and picnic tables with umbrellas dotted allover the property; all dogs are leashed, all cats stay inside only; everyone in the community picks up after their dogs; huge screened-in porches large enough to display plants, add chairs, tables and still room to walk around; clean fitness room with ample equipment and machines open 24/7; pool/hot tub, fitness room and gated property are controlled access, utilized by electronic keycard; quaint dog park/run with benches and a shade tree; conveniently located and discreetly masked dumpsters; package service is available at the office but the community is so safe I tell the delivery drivers to leave my parcels at the door; many of my neighbors and I leave our cars unlocked and windows down without fear of theft; clean, maintained appliances are functional and coordinated; very well organized community events are planned throughout the year; bedrooms are large and closets are huge; no rodent problems, no bug problems; minimal noise disturbances; no crime, no break-ins, no car theft or vandalism, no drug dealing, no gangs, no rowdy partying; two full-time maintenance guys are always keeping the grounds clean and service calls taken care of in a timely manner; two full-time office staff who are friendly, understanding and flexible within reason... I could go on and on about this community. Bottom line is you can't easily find all these features in one single community very easily. If you're looking for a place to live in this area, The Reserve is the place to call home.
