Boardwalk Blows

Where the hell do I begin?? I started my residence at Boardwalk by arguing on the phone with an unpolite office worker. When I signed my lease, it was attatched to a paper that had the goings rates of the aprtments. Well, for my room, it said $395. Then...they decided to charge an extra $40 for phone and ethernet. A rip off if you ask me for the limited time ethernet actually works. That raised my rent to $435. The $40 raise was mentioned to me BEFORE I turned in the lease, so that was OK. Then...when I went visit an apartment, I noticed the NEW...get that...NEW price sheet. another $20 raise in prices! So, now im paying $455! I asked if I had to pay that as well, since the prices were $20 less when I sihgned the lease and turned it in. They told me I had no choice and that there was no way I could terminate the lease at that point AND recieve my security, application, and move-in fees back. Move-in fee? what the hell is that? Like they hel;ped me move in. I carried that ---- up the stairs myself. Move-in fee my ---. Now, get this...on my application it asked if i wanted poolside view. I said no, and signed it. no means no. There is another added $10 a month fee for poolside. So, to make things more interesting for me, they thought it would be amusing to officially rasie my rent from the original $395 a month to a Jesus Christ...are you sitting?...FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY F***ING DOLLARS a month!!!! They dont name the prices on the lease itself....thats where they get you. Its bait and we are the damn fish. <br> <br>As for a ´lobby´...the only thing our community area provides is a waste os space. the gym is a joke. 2 treadmills and 1 of those infomercial things. Id prefer running in circles over their sorry excuse for a gym for my exercise. <br> <br>Now comes the fun part. Maintenence. Sure...they seem like nice guys...they even talk ---- about the management (who, i might add, deserves it). When my roomate moved in, she moved in all her crap and left for home for a fews days and came back up. When she arrived back, she had several things missing. And did you know that when you sign the lease, you are signing over all your provacy rights? Maintenence and management have the right to come into your apartment whenever they so please...even when no one is home. Not only do they enter the aprtment living area, but they evter your own personal bedroom as well, for ´plumbing checks´ and other little excuses to enter your dwelling. <br> <br>Have I mentioned the dipshit blonde´s (pardon, the phrase, im blonde myself) in the office? They are more concerned with the thought of breaking a nail than with helping you. They have no idea what the hell they are doing and they will time and time again lie straight to your face. They tell you one thing and do another. GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING! Sue the -------! <br> <br>Anyeways, I could hgo on and on for an eternity. Do yourself a favor and dont move here. Its a living nightmare and the pretty, though falling apart, exterior, will make you fall prey to their bull ----. Warn a friend...Dont give them the business. <br> <br>Go to hell Janan...or whatever the hell your prissy name is.
