Good points made....
If you like to blast your stereo/tv, go somewhere else. Sounds do carry here and management has no problem taking care of it. I wouldn't complain, but when frames are vibrating on the wall at 2am...you have to do something. Pounding on the wall didn't do any good, so the office sent out a "Courtesy Officer": a uniformed officer! It got quiet really quick!

The drunk college students do cause some frustration - especially when they stumble up the stairs yelling the apt number to each other...and their in the wrong building.
Some people don't seem to realize that others may have a different schedule than themselves. My 8 a.m. lab was difficult to absorb due to the lack of sleep.

So far I haven't experienced bug problems - but then again, I take my trash out on a regular basis and keep things clean. In Florida you're going to see the occasional roach, it can't be helped. As far as the silverfish: they're attracted to paper that hasn't been disturbed in a long time.

Parking is the worst problem. I work nights and it's really irritating to come home and find every spot around your building full of cars with no permit - because some kid 2 buildings over is having a party.

The staff do get tight with the rules. That happens - let one person slide, things can get sloppy really quick. From what I've seen and experienced: keep your place clean and the bugs stay away, plus you can get more deposit back; keep your sound level down, your neighbor will appreciate it, so will your ears; tell your guests to be considerate and park in guest parking; .....

Basically: treat your neighbors and the staff with respect, you'll get the same back!Share This Review
