Resident 2003 - 2004

5/20/2004

Ok, this place isn't THAT bad. (maybe that's just my building, though) I have a pretty quiet unit, on the top floor facing the lake.

The grounds are very nice. The rent is dirt cheap. Very affordable for someone on a budget like myself. (college student)

The main reason I moved here was the location. Close to everything. 400, 285, mall, MARTA, etc.

The big gripe I do have is indeed with maintenance - it took 3 weeks and 4 times asking for someone to finally come and fix my garbage disposal. I had to go make a spare key so they could get in, because they apparently lost their copy. Heh.

I don't feel unsafe here, and this is my first apartment living alone. Indeed there was a crime a few buildings down from mine not too long ago, but they were all apparently very drunk, and the attackers followed the poor guy home. Unfortunately that could happen anywhere.

Right now I'm uncertain whether I'll renew my lease. But it's more because moving is just such a pain, not because I hate the place. Trust me, I've seen FAR worse.
