Lied to us.
We applied there back in the springtime to get an apt. I liked it there for several reasons. School district, convenient to my job and all shopping areas in town. I paid an application fee, and a fee to hold a 2br/2ba apt. I knew I had some issues with my credit, but was assured that all was ok with it. They said they only look to see if you owe any utility co's or have any evictions on your credit which I do not have.<br>Well 3 days later they tell my husband that we were turned down over a 4 yr. old Sprint PCS bill. Last I checked a cell phone is NOT a utility bill. It is considered a luxury. He got hurt on the job, and a cell phone was not one of the extra's we could continue paying. Anyway a month later we get a letter from their corporate office as to why we were turned down. It did not say anything about this OLD sprint pcs bill. It said our income was not enough. Hahaha we make 4 1/2 times of what the rent was and only $200 a month of that went to actual bills. So that is where they lied to us at. I am dissapointed that they turned us down, when I know for a fact they let drug addicts live in there who were running from the law. Reason I know this is it was my old neighbor's daughter and her crack addict boyfriend. So they will let riff raff live in there, but not a quiet hard working family over what an OLD cell phone bill.Share This Review
