My experience here wouldn't be so bad were it not for the slowness/unresponsiveness of the maintenance staff. I don't blame this on the maintenance workers as much as I do the management staff as I'm almost positive they don't pass all of the maintenance requests on to the workers. I went without air conditioning for almost a week in 90 degree heat, and they would only offer excuses when I called everyday to follow-up on it. I now have water dripping from the apartment above me, but they're in no rush to get here either. The emergency maintenence number (for off-hours) is a joke - doesn't work, so if something happens during non-business hours, you have to wait it out. These apartments are very old, so there will be issues. My advice is that if it's a small issue you can fix yourself, do it.
