Rules are made on the spot and they change on the spot. Fees change on the spot and the math is always funny You will not get your deposit You will have water leaks that will damage your furniture The heat doesn't work in all the rooms, so we had to keep doors open for the heat to get into all the rooms. We didn't have screens, but promised them when we moved in. We left before they installed them. We were sold an upgraded apartment, but got a POPCORN WALLS. We were sold an upgraded kitchen, but didn't get a microwave or a fireplace as we were told. I was told transfer Fees are $1,000 in November. I signed up to move to Ellicott Grove in early December and the rules suddenly changed and I wasn't allowed to. After I found some time a week later to read the contract, I asked again and the rules changed again and now the transfer fee was $750. After moving out, the Transfer fee was only $171 for two weeks. As with everything, this also changed back to $750. Basically, the management does not follow UDR rules. They change fees in a heart beat and you can't believe anything they tell you.
