Resident 2007

9/30/2007

I just recently moved in and all I can say is that god I signed a 6 month lease. When i first looked at the apartments I was impressed, the apartments were close to my job and close to shopping which is great considering I take public transportation. I didn't actually get to see the apartment before I signed the paper I only saw the model. When asked if it is possible to see the apartment I was told they were still working on it. Well once I moved in I could see why that didn't show me,the apartment had a strange odor which I am just now getting out 3 months later and the apartment looked trashed. My bathroom vanity leans, the kitchen counter tops were scuffed and damaged, my bedroom window is literally on the neighbors patio and they have dogs and all their dogs booboo is on the patio. None of my light fixture are in place, they tried to cover a hole in the wall with tape and my patio is nothing but dirt that has huge holes in it to where I am afraid to walk out there. Not to mention all the cigarette butts of the people who "worked" on this apartment. The maintence staff is just lazy I reported all the things that needed repair when I first moved in and they are still not fixed. I think the thing that upset me the most is that I did not have a lock on my mailbox for 2 months and I had to go to the post office to pick it up. Even the pathway to carports smell like urine. This place could use a hand, a hand being demolished.
