Willow Wood apartments aren't new. They don't have new-looking appliances. But everything is clean when you get your apartment. The apartments are affordable, decently sized for a single person, and management was really easy to work with. I got nearly my entire security deposit back, probably because I actually paid my rent throughout my lease, cleaned my apartment when I was done with it, and tried to leave it in a condition equal to or better than that which I got it, which is what all renters should do. You should not rent here if you are a spoiled kid who needs your parents to fight all your battles for you, if you can't handle your own responsibilities, or if you can't be a grown-up. You should rent here if you want an affordable, clean place to live where you can have your own place in Cheney. You can pay the same amount to have your own one-bedroom place as you would at the more popular places in town to go in halvsies with someone else. (I paid $450 but if you did a year lease you could get $425/month with first month free, if I recall correctly). Everything worked properly and no one ever came by my apartment unannounced, probably because I wasn't annoying my neighbors. If you have problems with the management here, you must be a pretty horrible person. Like all apartments in Cheney, it can get noisy. It's a college town - if you live in an apartment, you're going to have drunk/noisy people in the neighborhood at some point. If I seem kind of angry, it's because of people going out of their way to rate this place down so far - if you're a respectful, responsible person, you will not have problems here. The one crappy thing is that there's only one cable outlet for the apartment. Buy a splitter for a buck, learn to live without a TV in your room if you're used to one. It's better for your health anyway. EDIT: I moved because I graduated and got a job. I actually stayed here while trying to find a job after college because the rent was so affordable.
