I moved to Seattle for a new job and had to find a place quickly, and without actually being able to see the place in person. Jane, the building manager, was incredibly helpful in making sure I got the place I was after. I lived here from April 2013 to Sept 2013 and thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
Jane is a fantastic landlord and was always very prompt in responding to questions, comments, concerns or complaints from the residents. They will also receive packages for you while you're not home, so I never missed a single parcel delivery at this place. The building is an old one, so it has some character, but as I am moving out it is getting ready for a fresh new coat of paint, clearly the management cares about the building and the people in it.
I had a studio which worked very well for what I needed, and I really liked the fact that the kitchen is partially separated from the living area, makes it feel like a bigger space, as does the walk-in closet. The heat is from a radiator and the stove is gas, so the electricity bill is very cheap which is a nice bonus. My bathtub was also huge, another bonus.
I would, and will happily recommend this building to anyone looking to live in Seattle. The location is fantastic as you are able to walk pretty much anywhere, including capitol hill, and a cab right home from the hill is cheap.
