Good Experience
The location speaks for itself: awesome! Walking distance to downtown's shopping district, myriad bus lines, also Capitol Hill and Lake Union. I couldn't agree less with the previous poster's maintenance experience - I only received prompt and courteous service and felt well taken care of. Moreover, my unit was in good shape when I moved in. The complex is old and comes with the charming flaws that all older buildings do. I didn't experience any funky smells except in the hallway by the mailboxes, which I'm suspicious was the result of heavy smoking by *certain* people. Grounds were kept up well, no complaints there. Also, there's a sweet court yard in the middle of the complex - perfect for summer barbecues, and there is actually a barbecue pit for tenant use. My only real complaint was the construction site across the street, which brought in dust, noise and tore up the street. However, the building itself was super quiet, fellow residents were respectful, and overall it was a good experience. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap alternative in the downtown area.Share This Review
