We lived there for 2 years and one time while we were out fo town we came home to the wall of our bedroom knocked in. Apparently some drunk person ran into the side of the building. Mind you we were on the 1st floor. They had to repair the wall inside and out because there was a HOLE in our wall. It was winter and in the process of fixing it cold air from outside was coming into our bedroom! It was a week long process not to mention having to re-paint it and them putting a massive humidifier in our room. We were breathing in paint fumes! They never compensated us! I requested a hotel and their response was "the hole isn't THAT big"!! On top of that after we moved out we received a $411 bill for "repairs". To include a "hole" in the screen door of which I KNOW for sure wasn't there, pulling up the entire bathroom floor in the spare because it was coming up (????), "extra" shampooing to the carpet and that's AFTER we shampooed it ourselves before moving out. These things were absolutely ridiculous! They had no proof of these things to show us. They sent us 1 bill and then proceeded to send us to collections. My husband call ed the collection agency and the guy said he had seen it 100's of times; if you don't request a walk-through with them prior to moving out informing us of repaird to be made before we moved out they will go through and write anything and everything and then just send you a bill for it. This did not even include the $400 deposit we put down for a dog that "does not go towards any damages". WHAT IN THE WORLD IS IT A DEPOSIT FOR AND $400??? COME ON!!!! We initially paid $400 for our 1st dog. We got rid of her and brought our other dog from my parents house, never were they there at the same time, and they tried to get us to pay ANOTHER $400 of which I refused. I have several more stories in examples of how aweful these apartments buit this could go on for awhile. My advice: DO NOT LIVE HERE! Not only are they horrible but, yes, it looks nice from the outside but the inside if VERY cheaply made.
