Ever since the new management company took over, I feel as if I'm being nickel and dimed into paying more. $5 for this, $3 for that, guestimate water consumption charges in the future. Rent increase, without seeing benefits of paying extra.

Thank you for your review and for giving me an opportunity to respond. Over time it is not uncommon to see rent increases in an apartment community, actually it's inevitable to happen as the economy changes regardless of what management company is over the property. I realize it can be frustrating and I truly understand that. To make sure that we are charging fair rates, I conduct a market study with the other comparable apartment communities in our area each month. We are right on target at this point with rent and fees. I would encourage you to give me a call and let's discuss your apartment and any items that you feel may need a little sprucing up and to visit with me about any ideas you might have that would allow you to see the benefit.
In regards to the water charges, it's not a guestimate. In fact you pay less than an apartment community that is individually metered because Maxus Properties pays a portion of the water bills for you. Any time you would like to call and discuss your water rate I would be happy to show you how those charges are broken down.
I look forward to hearing from you and value your opinion.
