Resident 2002 - 2004

3/31/2005

Overall, I am quite disappointed with the Palisades after staying there for two years and spending $20K in rent. Mangement was not timely with handling repair requests (the appliances and fixtures and cabinets are from 1992) We also had multiple problems with scorpions (my poor husband was stung twice on two occasions). Don't count on getting your security deposit back either. We were charged $400 to repair a "scratch on the bath tub" that is barely visible to the eye (which we didn't make anyway) and damage to venetian blinds, which was actually caused from sun exposure since 1992. We paid with no argument because we were about to close on our mortgage and wanted no renter or credit issues to come up at the last minute. The only good thing is the location, but even the general area seems to be going downhill. Every time I go back to visit my friend there are two cop cars parked somewhere. I feel the apartments are too dated for the money.
