Noisy and expensive
I moved in a studio of the Meadows in 1998.
Back then my rent was $650/month. My apt was
close to the parking structure and to be fair
I must say that I enjoyed the amenities
(pool and gym).

When I moved in, I noticed that the pipes
outside the building would be very noisy
on rainy days. It is like you could hear
water dripping, enough to prevent you from
sleeping.

Then, during the year 1999, the Meadows went
through an aggressive "renovation" program.
They would simply get into everybody´s apt
to install new kitchens, new closet doors, new windows, etc. Why? Just so that they can
ask for higher rent. And surely that´s what
they did.

In one year period, my rent was raised from
$650 a month to $850 a month. So I decided
to move out.

The Meadows were overall a decent place to
live back in 1998 (minus the noise problem
related to the pipes). Now it is clear that
it is overpriced for what you get.

I would not recommend the Meadows.Share This Review
