Contrary to some of the negative reviews, I have really enjoyed my stay at 1010. My husband and I have a business in northern CA but recently needed to come to LA for a project. We leased at 1010 due to the convenience of it being fully furnished and all-inclusive. My daughter and I spent the last 8 months at 1010 and sadly are going to be leaving to go back up to northern CA. We will more

Building now has a roach problem. The managers are terrible and the management company is a mystery. They keep it so you can't talk to anyone but the managers. The building is slowly deteriorating. Parking is difficult and they charge an extra $150 to park in the lot. A Westside Rental sign is constantly posted at the front gate because of the turn-over. more

The good: - Maintenance people are genuinely caring and very quick to respond. - Some people have good deals on their apartments. - PARKING. Because lets face it, if you have to park on the st. in this area you'll be getting tickets and towed, often. - Noise. If you live towards the back of the building, street noise is minimal (more later). - Management. Overall they do all they can more

The location is great and the maintenance workers are fabulous. There are a few people who work here who really know what they are doing but others seem kind of out of it - like they lose packages and the valets can be really slow bringing the car. The pool and gym are nice but there are still people who break the rules and invite everybody they know to pool parties (even though you are supposed more

No piece of mind. The building has nice amenities and the staff are friendly. However, you can hear EVERYTHING above and below you. Yes everything. If it is not the stereo/TV/dishwasher/normal talking/opening and closing of cabinets/etc... it is the constant THUD THUD THUD of walking around. It gets even better when the crappy buildings next door decide to throw a party or the police more

Two months into our lease they have completely changed the value of the apartment by declining to honor the exclusive use parking spot detailed in the lease. They knew of the issue when we signed the lease and now they say they "can't do anything about the change". (Smells a bit like fraud, no?) We've done everything to be reasonable even giving them a list of options on how more

Apartment has animal feces all over the parking lot....people always drinking and smoking all types of drugs in the back and on side of the building. Numerous times Ive seen people in the garage who dont live in this place. Management is very shady, if you ask the current manager " Chani " to talk to someone above her, she will not give out the number. Very Very Shady. With the new more

When I moved in, the management was still under Forest City. The staff were courteous, friendly, and respond to inquiries promptly. In early 2011, the management changed to Alliance. That's when Met Lofts started going downhill. The staffs are not friendly, they are not responsive, they promised they would handle matters right away, but always ended up not doing more

We have undergone multiple management changes in the last few years but I believe this management company is here to stay. They are great with working with tenants from what I have seen/heard, are responsive to maintenance requests and are putting money back into the building when they can. more
