Diplomat Apartments

10751 Rose Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90034

02/17/13 by stephaniegrossman:
I have lived here for over three years. I am a single female student and the reason I like the building is for the quiet to study. Also close to UCLA and the area is central and safe. Some of the complaints about the upper units being noisy I cannot stay as I was on the ground level and did not hear much. Beautiful trees and gardens around the pool. There is a new manager who is really good. more

Ariel Court Apts

Ok all personal attacks on the manager aside because it should not be personal and this girl just makes herself look stupid, has nothing to do with the individual, he works for a CORPORATION idiot. I LOVE living at this building. Don't fall for stupid comments made by people who probably live at home with their parents after graduating from UCLA. This building is a GREAT place to more

I had moved to Hollywood for work and looked for a place for 8 months. I stayed in with a friend in an apartment by Larchmont which was a bloody dumperino... so bad... so horrific, I can't even convey. It was courtyard "Melrose Place" style building which was horrible. Walls paper thin, roaches, you could hear the neighbor on the phone. Pot growers downstairs...awful, more

Club Marina Apartments

12435 W Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90066

Really horrible. I am very disappointed in how dirty it was - broken items and stains in the bathroom - even after I shower I still feel dirty. When I saw the 1 unit I was happy to see it but I didn't get what I was told I would get. If I could I would get into another unit that is upgraded and what I was promised to get. more

Mozaic at Union Station

888 North Alameda Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012

I'm convinced that it's usually only unhappy people who leave reviews. I believe when people are happy, they rarely leave reviews. Maybe because they're too busy being happy! :) With that said, I just moved into an apartment at the Mozaic, and I love it! The management team, Andy, Kyle and Akilah are super nice and helpful. Given the fact that my apartment faces busy N. Alameda St, more

Gayley Manor

729 Gayley Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024

Cons: No elevator, no a/c, no guest parking (as typical in Westwood, though), laundry "facilities" are so inadequate and overpriced that I pretend they don't exist, management enters apartments WAY too often (5 month sometimes), for whatever reason, with sometimes little or no warning, neighbors next door smoke cigarettes, management and lease is more

Swall Towers

311 S Swall Dr # 103, Los Angeles, CA 90048

This is the worst place i ever lived. Bugs all over. Management is petty and nasty as is the Owner. Noise is horrendous at all hours of the night because it is near the hospital so you get awakened out of a deep sleep by ambulance sirens at all hours of the night and it smells bad in the hallways. Surrounding apartment buildings in neighborhood have bars around windows so that tells you a lot more

Poinsettia Club Apartments

1444 N Poinsettia Place, Los Angeles, CA 90046

You get a good deal in this area. However, the apartments are not cheap...and they are treated as so. Having only one maintenance person is inadequate for a building this size. The laundry room is very dirty and almost every common area smells of pet urine. I understand only so much can be done, but I shouldn't see cockroaches in the same area I'm supposed to clean my clothes in. more

Regency Manor Apartments

7205 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046

The good: - Maintenance people are genuinely caring and very quick to respond. - Some people have good deals on their apartments. - PARKING. Because lets face it, if you have to park on the st. in this area you'll be getting tickets and towed, often. - Noise. If you live towards the back of the building, street noise is minimal (more later). - Management. Overall they do all they can more
