Wilshire Summit

10600 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90024

DO NO STAY HERE. The building looked appealing to me and it was the cheapest choice in the Wilshire corridor but I admit it was a very bad choice. Management is shady, rude and incompetent. Laundry rooms are dirty and equipment is always broken. Perking smells like trash almost every day. If I had known better, I would have rented an apartment in a smaller community, locally managed. more

I have been living here for the past two years and thank god I finally moved out of this joint. Here is why: 1. Expect a lot of noise - walls are paper thin, partying and TV broadcasting every night and most of all, you can hear every footstep of your neighbor above you. You can complaint and call the guards but the noises will return the next night (trust me) 2. Management is slow on more

I loved living at the Du Barry apartments! I left three weeks ago for school and miss it already. I'm so surprised by reading all the poor reviews because my experience was so different. From the moment I walked by the interesting 1920's art deco building, I knew this would be the place for me. I had a small efficiency apartment but I could not believe how inexpensive it was (and all more

lived here for over a year now and love it! lease was up in september and after looking at almost EVERY loft downtown just to see what else is out there i realized how good i have it. the best part is parking- i only pay $75 to park INSIDE the building. checked out some of the sb properties and they wanted $150 or $200 to park (bleh and all but one was off-site). never had any issues with the more

The guy in this story lived about 3 doors down from some hookers that still live there today. http://www.ladowntownnews.com/articles/2008/09/15/news/09-15-08-news03.txt Oh yeah, and it's noisy. more

Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. This place is overpriced, loud, messy and dangerous. I have lived here two years, thinking it would get better and it has not. The elevator keeps breaking, the AC keeps breaking, the heat keeps breaking, the hot water keeps breaking. Same things break, over and over again. Also, it is not secure. There are constantly bums in the building. 10 months ago mgmt told me more

I like the Shangri-Lodge apartments. The noise is not too much; there is security in the form of security guards for the Manor Hotel next door who roam all day right in front of the SL apts. There is a manager on site from 8 am to 1 pm M-F who is responsive to the tenants needs. All of the factors of the building are adequate for an affordable building. It is not a new building by any means but more

I signed up for this just to respond to that crybaby complaining about ---. Let me just say that --- is awesome. We became fast friends when she first started (I was there 8 years). The person who is complaining about --- probably can't keep up with her because she is very blunt and doesn't take BS from wimpy, complainy tenants. If you are up front and honest, she will respect you more

Atrium Apartments

8569 Burton Way, Los Angeles, CA 90048

Apartment initially looks nice and new. Management is great in responding to any inquiries but lacks actions to problems. Apartment building looks well maintained but the lobby has water leak every time it rains. The fire alarm and elevator alarm goes off frequently in the middle of the night. The one and only elevator takes a life time to get to each floor even though there are only 4 floors. more

DO NOT MOVE HERE! This is why.... 1. This place is infested with BED BUGS. The manager, Steve will lie and say that there it is not a current problem but that's not the case. It's only a matter of time before it becomes an issue. My unit had to be fumigated and Steve said my neighbors next door were filthy and that's where the problem started. I spoke to my neighbors and they said more
