DO NOT RENT HERE -- there are numerous city code violations, the maintenance and building upkeep has fallen below legal standards. Many tenants have filed complaints with the City of Los Angeles, current tenants have circulated petitions against the current property owners and on-site management regarding rent stabilization and its legality, poor work performed on units, and building more

They charge too much for water, sewer, trash, gas for heating hot water etc. They also removed the free satellite TV that the previous owner offers its tenant. I am a long time tenant and getting unhappier and unhappier. Want to move out soon. more

I lived here at this apartment at the beginning of this year. (btw, the address is 3767 Clarington Ave) Let me tell you what happened to me. Before I signed the contract, they showed me the demo studio which was nice, then when I moved in they put me into another unit that's near smart and finals. You can read the other reviewers' reviews (including the filtered one). Car more

St Andrews Development Corporation

608 S St Andrews Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90005

Negligent staff, rent raises (using loopholes to make it possible), and they kick residents out under the guise of "renovation" I've personally seen a couple with their newborn thrown out with only a 30 day notice. These people were nice, quiet people and treated unfairly. Diane is at best incompetent. She forgot we had an appointment while I signed a lease 1 hour and 30 more

After living here a month I got a surprise bill from a 3rd party billing company called AUM. The bill was for water/sewer/trash. They were nice enough to charge me a $10 activation fee as well as a $3 admin charge. I figured I would just pay it so I go online and sure enough there is a $5 fee for paying with a credit card. I'm really having a hard time swallowing $13 in fees for a bill more

Elevator seems to be broken every week. They also allow broken down cars to be in the garage with expired tags as well. Very loud community, but is expected to be when it is just a block from Sunset Blvd. more

Its sad to see this place get such bad reviews and the response of the management to the reviews. I generally had a good experince at the HT with the normal city apartment living issues such as noise, water outages etc that the management dealt with ok. The pros are great apartments and public spaces with an excellent location. The cons is the Management being overtaxed, the elevator that go out more

Requests for fixes go with promises and no action. You'll wait months and it's always "next week we will fix that" and it doesn't happen. Management does not care. The hallways and lobby are in old and in a state of disrepair. more

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Do not rent at the Mansfield Apartments. The "Manager", Alex is an AWFUL person. Everything looked good when we signed our contract. It all started to go wrong, REALLY quick. Things started breaking. Between robberies, the homeless in the parking garage, lobby and all areas of the apartment it is a complete NIGHTMARE. The elevator breaks ALL the more
