Villa Elaine Apartments

1245 Vine St, Los Angeles, CA 90038

Electricity goes off every other week at least. Nothing is updated, not the electrical system and not the pipes. They are also shutting off the water each week to fix one issue or another. The laundry room smells like cat piss and is never clean. They do not replace the carpet when a new tenant moves in. When they do paint they go over top of everything without stripping off any of the old pain or more

Wilshire Embassy Apartments

5805 W 8th St, Los Angeles, CA 90036

Bad place to live, do not stay here. There is no security at all, cars are always being broken into inside the parking structure. Management is useless and does nothing when asked. Large flats but not worth it unless you love techno all night and higher insurance rates for your vehicle. more

Ashton Tower Apartment

10930 Ashton Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90024

The tenants here are really a mixed bag: students, families and older couples. The building itself is REALLY loud - aka, you can hear when your neighbor showers, or the person above you is moving around a lot. Pro: There is a pool and jacuzzi Con: the hours for the jacuzzi are seriously limited, and the jacuzzi is on the 2nd floor on the inside of the building - so everyone hears more

Las Casitas

1154 Bellevue, Los Angeles, CA 90012

This complex is quite, small, clean and majority of the neighbors are friendly. The Manager is very nice and easy going. it's been a week since I asked for something to be fixed in my apartment, but it hasn't happened yet. Don't know when that will happen. I had something else fixed by the maintenance person. The maintenance's workmanship is very poor. You have more

Sepulveda West Apartments

I live in a one bedroom/1b for above one month. The apartment has many closet space. Lots of window. Howver, the noise(aircraft) at night is unbearable sometimes. You need to close all the windows if you are on the phone with someone. the tenants are okay. Quite folks. Not so impressed about the garage parking. Narrow and small parking space. The wall is so thin that you can hear anything from more

Eaves Los Feliz (formerly Archstone Los Feliz)

3100 Riverside Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90027

08/03/15 by Verified Resident:
Pros: Convenient location, good sized apartments, very clean grounds, good mix of tenants, nice staff Cons: Despite convenient location, NOT walkable...technically you could walk to Atwater Village, but that means heading down under the Hyperion bridge populated by homeless people, running across a freeway exit (with just a stop sign) and along a lot of traffic more

Midvale Court

1400 Midvale Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024

In comparison to neighboring apartment buildings, the price is right here, but the amenities are nothing to praise. The hallways are dirty, the front door is frequently left open to the general public and parking is an issue because the spots are narrow and enforcement of guests' vehicles in resident spaces is relaxed. The water is frequently cold in the shower, the carpets more

Park Rochester

10969 Rochester Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024

The management company is hoping you don't do your own price comparisons. If you do a bit of research into prices of nearby apartments (even the luxury apartments within a block or two), you will almost certainly be able to find one that is bigger, nicer, and less expensive or about the same price. The units are priced as if they were luxury apartments, but they are not. The more

Waverly Gardens Apartments

3016 Waverly Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90039

03/15/15 by anonymous:
Water is not included so expect to pay an additional 100-175 a month. That means that you're paying for your water, your neighbors water, the laundry, and all the water they waste double watering the lawn (during the drought). Hallway carpets and walls are old and dingy and often masked with febreeze. Request for repairs or maintenance were not fulfilled. The units are large but the more

962 Chauteau Hilgard

962 Hilgard Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024

Bugs. I'm not sure where they come from. The manager is pretty nice, but in the beginning it was rough because we had an issue about them sending these scary notices about trying to vacate us. Don't be scared. Know your renter's rights (the very little ones that we have in LA). They're not doing anything illegal. They just make it look scary. Maintenance can be 1-7 days more
