The pros: nice apartments, light, large, well maintained. The cons: increasingly poor judgement about new tenants: drug addicts, alcoholics abound; elevator should be an amusement park as it is thrill of a ride. Place feels like its going downhill. more

I presently live in Indianapolis, IN and have contemplated moving back to Hollywood. When I lived in the building everything was in a state of good and healthy repair. When at CBS Television City last year, I walked by the building and noticed that some residents had air conditioners. When I lived there it got very hot in the summer not having a window air conditioner. It was convenient more

The management company is hoping you don't do your own price comparisons. If you do a bit of research into prices of nearby apartments (even the luxury apartments within a block or two), you will almost certainly be able to find one that is bigger, nicer, and less expensive or about the same price. The units are priced as if they were luxury apartments, but they are not. The more

This is more like an old folks home! It smells like cabbage and there's no air conditioning. If you are planning to die in the near future, this is the place! more

I have lived here for 1.5 years as well and it is clear everyones outlook is very different . First off they should keep the property clean as you have to pay for trash anyway monthly, it is quite noisy around here from loud outburst from fighting neighbors to loud sex and howling dogs. But to add to that this bre property are renting studio sized apartments for 1 bedroom prices, that more

I would agree with a previous review´s assessment of the management company, LRA - they seem mediocre at best. One only hears from them when they are imposing some new rule or rent increase, and the pace of improvements to the property is not very fast. I had no problems with the on-site manager though; she seems to work pretty hard and generally takes care of all problems. I haven´t more

I lived here for 14 months, and there were great things about it. The manager, Betsy, is great -- friendly, responsive, etc. I loved having my own gated parking space. I never heard my neighbors, so the sound proofing was great. But... I was on the first floor, and I got deathly ill every month for the 1st 5 months I lived there due to the high level of pollution in the more

The apartment is okay, not great. No such thing as emergency maintenance. Pipes were leaking all over the place at 3am in the morning. No maintenance ever returned my calls. The walls are thin. Fixtures are cheap. You can hear people snore. Neighbors upstairs are noisy and always jump or drop heavy objects on the ground. The only good thing is rent is moderately priced. more

Our experience at the Los Angeles community of Waverly Gardens Apartments has been okay. When we moved in we were excited as the place showed promise but the longer we lived here/there the more we see a lot of the problems that Waverly Gardens has but are hopeful that eventually things will get better. more
