Sands Apartments

7220 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90046

When I first moved in it was such a great price for a decent amount of space even though everything in it was old. And then there was the manager, you just knew she would be fantastic! Unfortunately she left, and I left not much longer after her, for the standards went downhill. more

Thin floors/ceilings, thin walls. Lots and lots of Noise from Arena and Circus Nightclubs. Lots of car break -ins in the garage.Very thin walls. They tried to improve by putting wood floors in all the units but the floors/ceilings are so thin you hear every step your upstairs neighbor makes. The only good thing is that the apartment manager is nice and tries to be helpful, but the actual more

Positive: location location location. Safe. A lot of restaurants within walking distant. Negative: the hoa management. Hated this place and eventually moved out because of all the stupid rules they have in place. Such as moving only during weekdays, furniture delivery only till 5 pm weekdays. We bought a refrigerator and it came at 4:30 and they didn't let the truck deliver it. Had to more

Scott Properties-Dsl Con Corporation

Until our building came under management by Scott Properties life was good. Bulbs are never changed, common areas never cleaned. Plus the staff lies and you must put every repair request in writing. To get anything to be done you must complain to the city or take them to court. Scott has repeatedly cursed at me and I have caught the maintenance people stealing from me. I hope people more

Sierra Bonita Apartments

Two buildings across the street from each other - Bonita West (1337) and Bonita East (1338). Manager does not live on site. Manager is very rude. Manager does not make any decisions - landlord micromanages everything. Why they need a manager is beyond me. Quality of building is auful. Walls are pretty thin, so when a neighbor farts, you hear it! Constant plumbing issues, gas pipe more

I'm writing a review because I just sued this landlord and won. Sued because when you move out, you're entitled to your security deposit back. Well, they charged for things they're not allowed for, furthermore, they try to get you to AGREE to things they know they're not allowed to charge for; like painting, carpet cleaning even when there is NO DAMAGE TO THE more

DO NOT SIGN A LEASE with the people. MAINTENANCE the is absolutely NONE due to the micromanagement. The staff here are RUDE and the facilities are sub par I have been here for 3 years. My A/C unit has went out 8 times, IN the middle of summer and it takes 3-7 days to get someone to take a look at it. The heat has went out in the middle of winter 2 times with the same response (THAT THEY ARE more

I am currently packing to get out of this apartment complex ASAP!! I would have broken my lease with the police reports I have accumulated from this property but was too busy with classes at the time. When I signed the lease the manager was supposed to discount my rent because of the carpet stains but failed to do so, partly my fault also because I did not follow through with her and verify more

Stanford Apartments

I lived here for 6 months in a studio unit. I only took the apartment because I was starting a new job in LA and this place allowed dogs. The building is very run-down, and not properly maintained at all. It was built in the 1920's and is completely falling apart. The manager and maintenance are prompt, but do a very poor job at properly repairing things. The unit I was in had a tiny bathroom more
