Resident 2006

6/12/2006

My husband and I were moving to Redlands from Pennsylvania. I specifically wanted an apartment with a washer and dryer, and since availability of apartments with these sorts of amenities are limited we opted to take an apartment at Redlands Lawn and Tennis sight unseen. We officially lived there two and a half days before we took them up on their 30 day guarentee and demanded our money back. The noise level was rediculous because the walls are like paper. We could hear people outside of our second floor windows morning, noon, and night (and I mean 2 a.m. basket ball sessions). We were going nuts! The room off of the balcony that housed the washer and dryer was dirty and full of spiders. Even my husband - my defender against bugs of all shapes and sizes, found it disgusting to clean out. I don't have a lot of other opinions, we were only there days before we realized that the conditions were completely undesirable for us. We liked having the ceiling fans and not having them in our new apartment is the only thing that I miss. We ended up moving across the street to Parkview Terrace which is owned by the same mangement company. We did not get an apartment, we rented a townhouse for an additional 400 dollars a month that we love living in! RLT was completely sub-par and very disappointing.
