I am so relived to be moving out of University Village. I realized moving in was a tragic mistake right away and things never took a turn for the better. I could make a list of several things that were or eventually went wrong. I am a very easy going person and after a month, I couldn't wait until my lease was over. My roof was poorly patched together, (you can literally see the brown water stains left behind from a previous leak) which didn't bother me until October when it started leaking again. There was also a horrible stench coming from the side of my complex, my AC/heater was SOO obnoxiously loud I couldn't hear myself think. Wasps would invade my neighbors and my apartment. There were ants living with me all year long after having them "terminated" several times. The smaller pool was being used as a bathtub for the local bums. The whole apartment building was not well made so things would break here and there. I could hear everything my neighbors were doing. My "reserved" parking area was half way across the complex. There have been too many cases of car thefts, shootings, and unsafe circumstances to feel safe. It was just a horrible experience. I was very disappointed in the quality of work the maintenance offered. All of the residence I spoke to were just as let down as I was. At the end of my lease they charged me for everything they could. There are so many things I could say but I'll leave it at the least. I hope that for those of you who are considering UV as a future home to look elsewhere. They close campus just isn't worth it. Don't make the same mistake I did by ignoring these reviews.
