Resident ā€¢ 2009 - 2010

4/25/2010

My partner and I moved in August 2009. We live in Building 5, have a 2 bedroom unit, and pay $1908 a month. Our electric bill is about $100 a month since I work from home and I'm always there. The trash and hot water bill is about $65 a month. The complex is very well run. It's clean, safe, and the other residents are friendly. I like the fact that security people walk around all night. I have never heard noise from any of my neighbors. The club rooms, gym, and pool are great. We use them and love that they are available. The best part is the people who work here. Millie was the woman in the leasing office who helped us and she is the reason we selected this apartment over the other units we looked at. She was friendly, professional, honest, and didn't push us to rent here. As a matter of fact, we came back 4 times to see the layouts of various apartments and she was always very nice and helpful. Once you rent and move in, the people who you will interact with the most are the folks in the Resident Services office. Adela, Sara, and Dayna are the core team and they are great. They are friendly, helpful, professional, and every time I go in there, I feel very welcomed. They have a customer service mindset and it shows. They help you with packages, parking passes, repair requests, and answer questions about policies and procedures. I think they are the main reason I would tell people to live here. This is a hard component to assess when you are looking for a place to live but it really affects your quality of life. We have placed two repair requests (clogged disposal/kitchen sink and a closet door came off rack). They responded within 24 hours both times. Danny and Steve were the repairmen and they were both great. Is the place perfect? No! I wish the kitchen refrigerator was bigger and had more storage compartments and I wish they would replace the kitchen counters with a solid surface material. I am not a big fan of the tiled counters. Most of all, I wish they would create a secured area in the garage where we could lock up our bicycles so we didn't have to store them inside our apartment. Overall, we love living here and I highly recommend that you come check it out. The people who work here are what make this place really great. Ask for Millie and see for yourself.
