This apartment is at the busy intersection of Bush and Gough Street. There is a fire station at the top of Bush St. and occasionally there are fire engines blaring their sirens all the way down Bush St. Also, street noise due to buses, motorcycles, and cars. DidnĀ“t get a good night sleep until I moved out one year after my lease ended. The pros is that the apartment manager is quick to respond more

This is a beautiful building with true San Francisco charm, but the management company and resident manager make it not worth it to live there. Difficult to deal with, unresponsive, extremely slow with even the simplest maintenance, and the building is not kept up very well at all (outdated fixtures and electrical wiring, a lot of plumbing problems, unclean common areas, etc).

I lived in this building for about 1.5 years - tenants were great and location was unbeatable. My one bedroom was huge, bath and shower, living and dining room. Only problems were that the walls/ceilings/floors were as thin as paper - the first three months when someone was walking into my neighbors apartment I could have sworn someone was breaking into my unit. Also when I moved in woman more

I confronted the building management. It turns out that it was the owner not the management. The landlord was a cheap bastard and wanted to make a quick buck off of a sinking ship only to sell it. In fact the management kept saying that the landlord is a slumlord and did not want to put a dime into anything. Real nice! That place was so out of control to the point where I don't see how anyone more

The apartment being tiny didn't bother me. The rent seemed like way too much for the size, but it's San Francisco and everything is super expensive. What made me hate the place is the noise. My apartment was facing a courtyard along with about half of the other tenants in the building. You can pretty much hear everything everyone else is doing, normal conversations, sex, music, people more
