Management at the Fillmore Center is terrible. I moves in last July at the top of the market. I pay way to much for a 700 sq. foot apartment. I know other tenants who live in the same size apartment and pay as much as $200 less per month. Needless to say, with rents across the city dropping, and vacancies popping up all over the place, I expected my rent to go down. Instead they are raising it another $150 per month. When I question the raise, they offered me the same rent if I sign a 12 month lease. I told them that I want my rent to be lowered $200, since others are paying that. Their answer? No. That this reflects the market rate. I then take out the June 13th copy of the San Francisco Chronicle which has a huge front page article on how much rents have gone down in the city. Over 10% from last year. Still nothing.
<br>They are sooooooo greedy that I am pissed I ever signed a lease with them. Next month, they can count on me moving out. They will never get another rent check from me. Also, if you have any doubts, come by on a Saturday or Sunday, and see for yourself how many people are moving out of here.
