I absolutely love Cobblestone. This is my first apartment by myself and I am a complete safety nut, and I feel very safe and at-home here. Where to begin....when I was looking around at apartments, I was immediately impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They made me feel welcome and comfortable and answered all of my questions. When I signed the lease, they were excited for me because I was excited, and then, because I had been evacuated due to the fire, they let me move in early. They rushed all the cleaning and everything and didn't make me feel bad about it at ALL. They did it with smiles on their faces just so I wouldn't have to live out of my car for an extra week. Then when I moved in, my shower was acting weird and I realized I didn't have a microwave, and guess what? I told the office, and the next day my shower was fixed and they placed an order for a microwave even though, I now realize, it's not an appliance that all units are required to provide. About a week after I moved in, I had a staff member come to my door with a plate of home-made cookies, welcoming me to the community, inviting me to the events that they had planned, and asking me how move-in went and if there were any changes I would make. I couldn't believe that. The cookies were damn good, too! I won't go on and on with every detail, but I will say that any issue I've ever had with appliances have been taken care of the next day. When I thought my welcome mat was stolen and got all freaked out about safety, someone came the next day upon request and added a chain lock to the inside of my door. (Turns out my mat had blown down the stairs in the wind. Oops). The office staff is so hard-working and sweet...I find myself going in there just to hang out. All I'm saying is that Cobblestone does not get enough credit for the nice apartments, well-kept and friendly community, and office staff that work hard and genuinely care about their residents.
