Resident 2013

11/25/2013

ROACHES. They "spray" once once a month, but I don't notice any difference. Roaches are back the very next day. I've had to buy my own roach repellent and that doesn't work all the way, but makes more of a difference than the apartment spray. And also, they try to charge you $25 if you miss a spray. The staff has always been nice to me (I only have dealt with them when moving in), but the apartments are very unclean. They are just old buildings. They say no pets, but yet every other apartment has a dog and they don't clean up the feces. Watch your step! The laundromat in each building has 2 washers and 2 dryers. I've never used them because they close at 530 om and open back up at 830 am. I'm military and work until at least 530 every night. And they also had a horrible odor the one time I attempted to use it. The manager told me they don't care if I smoke in my apartment... therefor every hallway smells of smoke and dirty feet. Paper thin walls. The apartments have "shared utilities" and my rent is $500 (with new carpet) and the utilities are an extra $100! And they don't keep the apartments warm. Idk how they are that much for each apartment when they don't have A/C and never use the heat (furnace). You get exactly what you pay for, though. They are very cheap on rent; very cheap buildings.
