Living at Sloans Lake Apartments was a complete nightmare for me. I moved from out of state and this was recommended to me by a co-worker but at this time it was Carmel Sloans Lake. The new management have no idea what they are doing. The Property Manager is never in the office nor does she ever return your phone calls, the Assistant Manager is extremely rude and has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. She makes everyone feel like they are bothering her by asking questions. On numerous occassions, when I would get home around 5:30 the office would already be closed for the night, even though the hours were until 6:00pm. I would have to leave work early just to make sure I could catch someone in the office when needed. They take weeks to return phone where you would leave voice messages asking for a call back regardind an issue or concern. Work orders would rarely get taken care of within that week. Within my first 6 months of living there my A/C unit went out and took 3 weeks to get replaced, my electrical board had to be completely replaced because it also went out, i had a leak in my bathroom that was causing mold and they acted like this was no big deal. I'm typically someone who does not complain about issues at apartment complaxes because I understand they have a tough job but this was absolutely the worst management and apartment experience ever. I could go on with more issues and other things that happen at these apartments but I'm just ready to be done with them and never have to think or speak with them again!
