this place is terrible...t his is another email i sent to upper management at Monogram on 1/14/15 NO ONE EVER RESPONDED TO MY COMPLAINTS. Hi, my name is Cleve T*** and my wife and I have been residents at 7166 at Belmar since Feb 2012. I am writing you because i have seen some drastic changes in the community lately that need to be brought up to management as i haven't gotten anywhere with my buildings supervisors. First, if you are not the right person, please forward this on to the manager of 7166 or the manager or C****n S****s. When we first moved in, everything was always clean and maintained well. Communication with managers like Johnny and Cristina Aguilar was easy and prompt. I'd say that in the past year or so things took a turn for the noticeably worst. Please understand that some of my issues may seem small but when your paying top dollar to live in what you call "creative luxury", these things all add up. - When the weather drops below 25 degrees the doors in the A building that lead to the courtyard always freeze and malfunction. Thus causing my wife to walk around the building with an 18 mos old and whatever else in tow. This is exacerbated by the fact that the Custer ave is north facing and ALWAYS icy and unshovelled. - when these doors fail people then prop them open with whatever they can find, usually stones from the courtyard. this now creates a SECURITY concern!! please tell me how this is considered "TAILORED LIVING". sounds like someone is tailored to get raped. - next is the lack of concern for the overflowing poop garbages that are placed around the building. no one ever empty's them so people stop picking up their dog ----. theres dog ---- all over the courtyard of the A building. go look for your self. -so apparently maintenance people keep turning over, i wonder if its because of their leader, C****n... this leads to a long turnover in maintenance requests. it took them over 1.5 weeks to respond to a leaky toilet!! -speaking of maintenance: we RENT (PAY FOR) storage units. one happens to be next to a water closet. this water closet has leaked at least 5 times since we've moved in. i've personally called maintenance a few times. they come. they fisx.... the other day i move some furniture out and notice water damage and a moldy bag of clothes. i notify management. Monica is very nice and we discuss what happened. she tells me that C****n will get back to me. She does so after a few days and i explain what happened and show her pictures of the damage and the clothes. she tells me that she will discuss with management. she gets back to me and tells me that they concluded the damage wasn't from the water closet but she will credit me $100 for the damage... - so this leads to my next point and why i have ZERO faith in C****n S****s... on 8/18 i put a notice in on the monogram res site re: construction that was happening around 8PM. this woke my baby and caused her to stay up most of the night. the next day C****n called and explained how that shouldn't have happened and she will get me a $100 gift card for my inconvenience. I later come to find out that i know that owner of the construction company and he told me that he felt terrible and he gave C****n a $100 Target gift card for the resident that complained. C****n explained how she was sorry and she made Monica go out and buy the gift card on behalf of monogram. this is a straight LIE and i will not deal with C****n anymore. -lastly this leads to my last point: every time i call out the management for their faults they try to reach out as if we are friends. When i ask for a little bit of concession I'm given the corporate explanation of how they "can't help": case in point... I'm given 7 days notice to resign lease or give notice to vacate... 7 DAYS?! to figure out where to relocate my family and all belongings. so i go to discuss with management and I'm told that even if i were to vacate early i have to pay thru Feb 10. Regardless, i signed a new lease on 1/1/15 because i just want to get out of 7166. so now i'm paying two rents because 7166 refuses to work with me. i know at least 4 people moving out of the A building due to similar complaints. I would like someone with more clout to give me a call to discuss. last time i emailed corporate, C****n apologized with some corporate jargon but nothing was done. thanks, Cleve T***
