False Promises
The new management is full of false promises about how much they are trying to clean the place up and make it a better place to live. I believed them and took a chance and moved in January. Let me tell you what I have noticed so far of only 3 months of living in this dump. 1: Filthy on move in - not cleaned at all 2: Mold Under Sink 3: Stained carpet from urine 4: Front door does not seal 5: Broken Fridge 6: Broken Screens on Windows 7: Broken Lock on window replaced with a little thumb screw 8: Rusty sink and tub 9: Carpet installed by amatuer including cuts in every door 10: Outside lighting is more frequently off than on. Large empty parking lot with lights that are on 1 every 4 days. 11: Office workers don't live in the buildings (now I know why). 12: Although they "don't allow dogs" there are over a dozen residents who have them. That is just the beginning. I was shown an apartment with new fixtures and was told they were upgrading apartments as they became available. I had two weeks until I was moving and was assured that my apartment would be one that was upgraded. After signing the lease 2 weeks later, I am given the keys and do a walkthrough of the apartment. Everything I listed above was noted on my walk in sheet. I was again assured that things would be rectified shortly. Now 3 months later and the only thing they have done is clean the mold and offer to reclean or dye the carpet. I was cautious about only signing a 6 month lease because of rent increases, however now I am ecstatic I get to move in 3 months. Ohhh - and if you are worried about the rent increase don't listen to their false promises on that either. The rent has gone up almost $100 in 3 months and utilities have gone up $10. Nothing like getting screwed by the office girls...Share This Review
