Major Problems

If you're looking for a nice apartment, keep looking. Not only is the floorplan a joke, but because of it, you'd have to be at least 6 feet tall to reach all of the cabinets. The building is old, and not much has been done to fix the appearance. The old management was a joke as well, they had a bad habbit of "throwing away" work orders, we requested them to fix a leak in our child's bedroom window back in December, and it was never taken care of. When we moved in, the carpets were never replaced, we had to clean hair out of every drain, and we were never given a move in inspection. When we told them about the needed repairs, we never saw them. Our neighbor is mentally ill, not on the lease, and is a potential danger to others. management just lets him stay there. The maintenance man has been seen looking into people's windows, and nothing was done about it. The biggest problem, is the flooding. Yesterday, there was a good sized storm, and the rain water pooled up along-side our building. It found it's way into the apartment, and every single bordering wall had damage. Carpet completely saturated, paint bubbling and peeling off, etc... It took maintenance almost 3 HOURS to respond to our calls about the flooding.

On a good note, they just went through a change in managment, so hopefully the work will finally get done. However, they will have their work cut out for them, because the previous owners left all of their problems behind.
