My husband and I were looking into renting a 2 bed 2 bath 866 sq.ft apartment from skyline. When we got to the office no one greeted us until we walked into one of their offices and sat down. The lady (Jeanette) we worked with was very nice and informative. She told us a lot about the property and informed us that they have night security from 10pm-6am which is a nice safety feature. We also liked that there were a lot of parking spaces for residents because at our current complex we are very short on parking. She was able to show us a model apartment of the larger sized 2 bed 2 bath which looked pretty decent, but it wasn't the exact layout of the unit we would be moving into. She said the apartment we would be living in had a pipe burst and that they were renovating/ and doing repairs. We asked if there was any way we could see the place before we actually moved in, and she checked and was able to show us the unit we would be moving into because they had just finished making repairs.... Let's just say I was not impressed! The outside looks pretty decent, but when we got into the apartment I knew right away it was not a good option. The paint was unevenly covered throughout the whole apartment, there were NO baseboards whatsoever, and the living space was TINY. There were tons of patches on walls and doors from previous residents. And the repairs were sloppy! To make matters much worse after already being disappointed, my husband was looking through the cupboards in the kitchen and found A LIVING COCKROACH in the empty pantry!!! Let's just say we quickly changed our minds and decided to stay in our current apartment community. Definitely don't waste your time moving into these apartments.
