Pros:location to downtown with one straight bus, close grocery store, shopping etc, concierge
Cons:lack of amenities, I never had a pest problem until they decided to do a "preventative treatment" because a neighbor had them; walls and floors are way too thin I can hear my neighbors have sex, sneeze, laugh, watch tv, talk on the phone, cry etc.; domestic violence in the building we has 3 incidents which one resulted in the police staying for 3 days yet apartment refused to comment on what was going on; new heating/cooling system sucks compared to the old one
Honestly you can find a great deal here with a safe location but the heating and cooling install during my whole stay as a resident was off putting especially with the way the office manager dealt with complaints and refused to respond and follow up. The concierge staff are so nice and I leave and arrive with a smile. No amenities but they charge a fee and if they fix or change the machine they increase the price (so why do we pay an amenity fee) . The noise in my apartment is ridiculous I can hear everything and everyone can here me.
I would recommend the Kenmore to a friend in an emergency but just as a temporary stay.no gym pool. Also parking is about $145 for an unconverted spot and street parking is horrible. They are building a new aldermen building near by and it will not be coming with a large parking lot so with 300 Apts worth of cars coming in the near future I will be leaving asap........
