A refreshing change

I commented on the review before this one (10/23/2006 Not bad for the price") and here's the response to my comment: "The issue with the parking: once people came home from work, those little tiny lots in front of some of the buildings filled up REAL quick. So the lot that you would most likely park in could be significantly far away from your building. Also, try again with the thought of "maybe 3/4 the length of the building." My particular building, you had to walk the length of one building, then the majority of mine. While this apartment is recommended, you certainly don't sound like someone who is "shopping" for an apartment. More like "I work here and I have to dispute the negative aspects of this person's post." First of all, what's up with "the length of one building, then the majority of mine." The doors are in the MIDDLE of the buildings, so at most you'd walk the length of one building, then HALF of yours. Duh. Now that I'm more aware of the property, I need to admit that I was in error when I said "3/4 the length of the building." I made that error because I don't live or work for Southgate and wasn't that familiar with the property. FYI, to all others, the length of one building is equal to two apartment units plus about the width of the hallway -- maybe 3-4 feet. So "the length of one building, then the majority of mine" is actually the distance of three units. That's it. That's also a very pathetic accusation that I work here. I've been to Southgate, I visited the rental office more than once and will be there again. I'm sure you noticed -- since you live there -- that there is NO COMPUTER in the rental office. If I did work there, do you think I'd do this on my own time? What an idiot. If hope you move out before I move in because lazy fat --- bastards with a holding a grudge make horrible neighbors. Is this harsh? I hope so, because that's the only way to prove your lame accusation that I work here. I happen to live on a Schwab Group property. If you look at their reviews you'll see what it's like and maybe you'll understand where I'm coming from. Some of the reviews for Southgate are ridiculous -- some ridiculously funny and some ridiculously stupid -- and I believe in a FAIR review. So, anyone who thinks posting a FAIR review (or commenting on an unfair review) must be by someone who works for the property, then that means anyone who complains MUST BE a disgruntled employee or ex-employee or someone with a grudge against the property or its employees. But if that's the only thing worth complaining about I guess that's a good sign about the place. I am moving in to Southgate, I've seen the parking situation (or non-situation), most of the neighbors seems okay even friendly (eg saying hello), the manager (who's name I don't know) is very pleasant and efficient although I get the answering service a lot (but I get called back the next morning), not sure about the one washer and dryer per building, pool currently looks icky (but she said it's not open yet), and the dumpsters are farther from my unit-to-be than any other place I lived.
