Resident 2012

9/8/2012

Since applying to live here in March 2012, I have received really good service. The office manager and other office workers have all been really professional, nice, and respectful towards me. I like how they actually know my name when I walk in, and say hi "so and so, how are you today" to me as if they personally know me, it's a really nice touch, and it makes me feel welcomed. I moved in on 6/1/12. There were a few minor things that needed attention, maintenance took about a week to get here, but when he did, he fixed everything in under an hour. He was very polite. I live in a refurbished apartment, which means I have "newer" applicances. Everything works wonderfully. I'm on the 3rd floor, so no noise issues. I have spoken to my downstairs neighbors to let me know if I'm making too much noise (I have Zumba DVDs lol) and they said they do not hear me AT ALL. I like the cathedral ceiling, it makes the space appear larger. The rooms are a really nice size. Oh, forgot to mention, the entire apartment was freshly painted before I moved in, and new padding and carpet were installed. The dumpster area: well, it's a dumpster area and sometimes the trash smells really bad, but remember, it is trash. How clean the dumpster area is depends on whether or not the residents throw their trash around on the ground (as it appears they sometimes do). Yes, sometimes a few dumpsters are overflowing, but if there are always a couple of dumpsters that are half empty. The problem is, it seems everyone wants to throw their trash in the 1st dumpster and not walk next to it to throw their trash in a different dumpster, which is why 1 or 2 dumpsters overflow. Anyway, I do feel there are enough dumpsters, so the overflow issue is not one of management (just my opinion). Also, there is a gate around the dumpster area, so it's not an eye-sore. I have been in the fitness center, though I haven't actually used any of the equipment. Seems to have the regular basic things people would use. The pool's water is always clean and clear. The tennis court is a nice size. Since I don't have a tennis buddy, I was disappointed that the court does not have a wall that I can go and bounce a tennis ball off of. I do recommend this community. I really enjoy living here. I plan to be here for years. It feels like "home." Thanks!
