I have been living here for six months.
The Good.
I love the fact you can't really hear people outside or on the other side of the walls. I love the space of the apartment and the solid concrete walls. The pool area that is located on the Intracoastal is priceless. The parking is fantastic. It's never too busy.
The Bad.
They had a glitch, where my key card was not working. I drove to the call box, where my name was removed. I had to park my car at the leasing office and walk home to the back of the neighborhood alone at 2 a.m. I called the leasing office furious the next day, and they really didn't even care.
They have no recycling or any type of going green initiative here. I have to take my recyclables to work otherwise it would just get trashed here.
Every time I try to go to the pool, its loaded with kids. The parent's don't even watch them. The kids are throwing toys and anything else they can into the ocean. The families just take over the entire pool. It's annoying and ruins the peaceful moment. This has happened each time I have gone to the pool.
Maintenance sucks. In six months, my front door knob, washing machine, dishwasher and garbage disposal broke. They came to fix the garbage disposal and caused a leak. It destroyed all my things under the sink and black mold started growing. I had to trash all my stuff and clean the mold myself. It took two days for them to come fix the sink..again.
Again, I have been living here for six months and I can't wait to get out of here. I can get over the rest of the annoyance, but the when they accidently deleted me from the system and I had to walk alone in the middle of the night is something I won't get over. The surrounding area is not so friendly. Realistically, anyone can just walk right in. The gate is useless.
