Look elsewhere before you decide to settle down at the Elements of Belle Rive. I honestly have no idea how this place got so many good reviews. We have only been here for six months and can't WAIT to move. We have had an insane roach problem since we got here. Yes, pest control is included with your rent however he does not come on a consistent basis. (obviously, because we see roaches every week). We have even put up our own pest control and they are STILL all over the place. We have had multiple things break/ randomly stop working since we moved in and it required many maintenance visits for it to eventually break AGAIN. (our a/c has been down multiple times, as well as other things around the apartment breaking). Pest guy lets himself into your apartment, maintenance lets themselves into your apartment, and you never get a heads up about whats going on. So be prepared to be startled by a stranger in your apartment if you don't answer the door because you are sleeping/showering. Also more than once we have had our water turned off (because they are doing maintenance on it) and NEVER give you a heads up. So you are out of water at least half the day. God forbid you have to shower/use the bathroom. The people in the front office do not sincerely care about how comfortable you are living in the complex. All they want is a signature on the dotted line and then their whole demeanor changes. The gym is the size of my closet, the pool is closed at least half the week, and there is ALWAYS loud noises from people doing work around the apartment complex. i.e. mowing 3+ times a week when there is hardly any grass anywhere. The maintenance guys are kind but that is NOT enough to keep me wanting to live here. Cannot wait until my lease goes up!

    I am sorry you feel this way about your stay in our community. Just to clarify a few things, pest control comes on a quarterly rotation and notices are sent ahead of time stating the day he will be coming. Should you need him in between you must notify the office to get on the schedule. Maintenance enters the apartment when you put in a work order unless you schedule a specific day and/or time when you call it in. As with any apartment community we do not do all service calls via appointment as they could be interrupted by emergencies etc. As for the water being turned off, there are times where we can not control a main water break, etc. When water goes out we notify residents in the quickest way possible which was via email and Facebook. Several times the City has caused the water outages and it's completely out of our control. As for the pool it is typically closed for swimming on Mondays during the busy months so that maintenance can maintain the ph levels due to all the activity. You can still lounge at the pool those days. In regards to mowing, the landscapers are here only one day a week (Thursdays) so I am not sure what you are talking about when you state 3 times a week.
