I definitely want to join the class action suit. I lived in Victoria Park for 4 years (July 2003 - June 2007). When I left, I was told that everything was fine with my apartment (but didnt do an "official walkthru") ... after several months, I got a call from a collection agency telling me that I owe over $1,000 to replace the carpet. The carpet was NOT new when I moved in ... I complained about the carpet needing to be replaced several times while I lived there. Of course that request was told to more than one manager (as there were several through the years). After living there 4 yrs with used carpet ... its time for the carpet to be replaced by Victoria Park anyway. I requested documentation to show me where the carpet was new when I moved in ... of course they had NONE. Its very unfair that they are allowed to place these lies on your credit report with absolutely NO PROOF!! If anyone has the lawsuit information, please post it. Thanks.
