I've lived at the Hamilton for 3 years. I would buy my apartment in a heartbeat if I could. For pure value, you can't beat this place. My 1 bedroom is approx 1300 sqft with two huge balconies and a bay view. I have washer/dryer in unit and the building takes care of all maintenance. Sure the building itself is a little dated but in exchange for not having a stainless steel kitchen you get more floor space than most 2 bedroom apts in the area. Its walking distance from Midtown shopping complex but is still on the bay. Honestly, I read a bunch of these reviews before I moved in and quite frankly they make the place sound awful. I have only had minor issues in my stay here and recommend it to everyone I know that is looking for an apartment.
One word of caution: If you are looking for a building with young tenants and parties please look elsewhere. The tenants of this building are adults. Not a lot of college students. There are a lot of older people and professionals. Most of the tenants have been living here for a while. We dont really see a lot a turn over (Service elevator at the start/end of the month is rarely reserved).
