Couple's experience in Post Hyde Park

We came to Post Hyde Park due to difficulties in the housing market and the location near SoHo. The apartments were nearly new when we arrived. Since our arrival, the complex has decreased in the quality of services and responsiveness. The grounds are clean, but the staff do not return calls, and responses to repair and service requests require 3 business days and multiple phone calls. The office is professional and seems attentive, but this facade is clear once a renter. While Post markets the apartments as luxury and national has the chops for relocation, closer inspection you can see the garbage stains in the cement, dog feces where not paved, and pest and safety issues unaddressed. Safety is increasingly lax due to open and broken gates and as noted by a series of break-ins and car thefts (Post issued letters, but did not fix gates). They have started to tow cars without stickers in improve parking, but this does not address safety issues. The complex still has a great location, and I can understand that the company and its staff have de-vested from this property. As a renter, it really is a shame to see the place change from a hip place for young professionals to standard public housing with curb appeal and high rents. The rent is high and increasing, and this would be more acceptable if the services and standards weren't decreasing. PS: Having read the past reviews, they seem too responsive to past comments to be tenets.
