bad product for the price
Post hydepark apartments is as prime example of paying way to much for what you get. I guess the $200.00 increase in rent is to cover the cost of the few gallans of floor paint the had to purchase to paint the hallways of SELECT apartment buildings. The buildings have severe wood rott. The roof shingles all need to be replaced, when you look at the roofs it looks like a patch work from hell. The different color touch up paint is a nice touch to to the outside of the buildings. Not to mention the constant over flowing ONLY dumpster on the property. I will admit the the lanscaping does look nice at the entrance, however as you go deeper inside that changes, there is hardly any mulch left in the landscaping, weeds and dead grass is everwhere. Sit at the pool on a Sat or Sunday afternoon and talk to the other residents and they all have the same comments to say. All say the paint in the apartments is bad, carpet all needs to be replaced, fans make noise, blinds are bent or broke. I understand in terms of apartment complexs they do have a monoply in hydepark. However you would think they would want to keep the loyal residents that have been here for years and impress the new ones moving in. The raise in rent is completely un-warrented for the product that you get when living in Post Hydepark apartments. My advise to those considering moving in is to look at your other options first before moving in.Share This Review
