Resident 2012 - 2015

5/29/2015

I've lived at Revere Landings for quite some time, and the only issues I've ever experienced here have nothing to do with the Apartment Complex itself... and more to do with my crappy neighbors... That being said, it is not without it's faults... but which complex is? I see a lot of negative reviews on here talking about how residents' water bills are $100+ a month. I have no idea how this is possible unless you have a family of 5+ or are washing clothes seven days a week. My boyfriend and I have *never* had a bill over $40, except one time when our toilet was running - which maintenance promptly fixed. I also see a lot of complaining about the maintenance guys being shady just because they ride around at night. Somehow these people must not read their monthly pamphlets with the number for Courtesy Patrol... which is exactly what this is. The maintenance crew patrols the grounds to make sure all is well. I have never had an issue with the maintenance crew, and have never had a reason to suspect them of any wrong doing... which is important to me since they are, in fact, entering our apartment while we are gone in order to fix things. The front office staff has been nothing but nice and understanding with us. The appearance of the buildings themselves are outdated, but there's nothing wrong with the apartments themselves. The parking is an issue at times, and they do need more parking spaces and dedicated spots for guests as sometimes I cannot even find a parking space for myself... especially if I get home after 6 pm. There is a reason this apartment complex has been awarded from the TBT and the Sheriff's office. I enjoy the fact that it is gated and that there are security cameras around the entire complex. Since living in Tampa, this is my third apartment complex. The others being Courtney Cove and Hunter's Run. Courtney Cove was AWFUL and I have no good things to say about it. Hunters Run was much, much better as far as APPEARANCE... but we had a lot of issues with their front office staff and maintenance... and the fact that the "gated" community was never gated since they were broken 24/7/365. Revere Landings has been the best place we've been at, by far. The front office staff (Charlene and Lizzy) have been nothing but great to us... and the maintenance crew (especially John) are very nice. I do miss Emilio. Tell him to come back!
