It´d be OK if Maintenance would ever fix ANYTHING
I have met some of the nicest people at The Avalon on Abernathy. But then again, misery loves company. We have lost good neighbors because the management staff decided to up the quoted rent price on them over $200 in less than 24 hours. In my 2 years living here there have been no less than FOUR managers. The CFO lives on property but doesn´t give a crap about it--of course this property is a 40 year old cash cow. To fix anything major would cut down on the profit margin he makes for shareholders. The basic premise here is go shareholders, screw the stupid residents. NOW they want us to contribute food for the food bank so they can get kudos from corporate. FOUR families have entered to win a contest that was never freakin´ announced. Memos went out saying: "By now you should have received your bags for the canned food drive." Oops, they forgot to put out the bags. I have to write, call, -----, complain, withhold rent, be threatened with eviction just to get little maintenance stuff done.

Oh yeah, my downstairs neighbors, the hookers, I mean call-girls. (I am not even kidding) FINALLY moved out. They illegally sub-let the place to their DRUG DEALER friends. They still come over to visit but at least without the Johns here showering all night (8PM to 1AM every hour on the hour) I have some hot water when I wake up.

Oh yeah, six apartments share ONE residential water heater per. . . no, no individual water heaters in the apartments--that would make sense!
DON´T GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY MONEY--MOVE ELSEWHERE. . . DON´T RENEW.Share This Review
