Current tenant of 3 months; I haven't experienced any bad characters in the complex and I use the business center and club house daily. When I contact management regarding service request that are professional and resolve the problem. I would rate the community as a GREAT PLACE, and it takes everyone to make a good community, because if nobody is aware of a problem how can it be resolved. I live off the main entrance and haven't experienced any late evening noise. The health club is clean and all equipment working. The racketball court lights where not working and I reported this and management had this corrected the next day. Same with the business center printer. I requested paper and it was supplied within the hour. All of my service calls have been resolve within 24 hrs. My refrigerator even went out on me and management replaced the unit, along with a credit for the food loss. I am confident that if you decide to move in you will be satisfied with your unit, amenities and the professionalism of management. ASHFORD PARK MEETS EXPECTATION of the tenant. Great place to live. There are absolutely NO BUG OR THUG PROBLEMS here. I am a professional with teenagers and would definitely indicate this problem. Anyone committing a crime can easily be reported to the police, if this was the case. I have noticed police staff living here in building 2. I would agree that the price does reflect the type of people that reside here. Everyone I have encountered is nice and respectful. I hope to hear from other tenants here if there are problems we need to be sure management is aware. I WILL BE KEEPING YOU INFORMED OF ASHFORD PARK COMMUNITY.
100% SURE THE STAFF IS WRITING BS "GOOD" REVIEWS & RESPONSES FULL OF LIES. I'VE NOTICED IT TOO. THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL DUMP - GETTO - NASTY MANAGEMENT, UNDER QUALIFIED - NEED TO BE UNEMPLOYED AND SAVE US ALL THE HEADACHE OF DEALING WITH TRAILER PARK TRASH. THEY BAIT & SWITCH - NOT ONE APARTMENT, EXCEPT THE "MODEL" HAS A LINEN CLOSET, A WALK IN CLOSET, OR COULD FIT A KING SIZE BED. FROM THE MOMENT YOU WALK IN THE DOOR THEY FEED YOU A BUNCH OF LIES. THERE HAS NOT BEEN ONE SINGLE "MONTHLY" EVENT PLANNED FOR THE TENANTS IN ALMOST A YEAR - SO MUCH FOR FREE FOOD AND LIVE MUSIC. THERE IS NO COFFEE IN THE "CAFE" - IT'S NOT IN THERE BUDGET, NEITHER IS TONER & PAPER FOR THE FAX MACHINE & PRINTER. (WHICH BY THE WAY WE PAY FOR - IT IS INCLUDED IN OUR OUTRAGOUS ROB YOU FREAKIN BLIND RENT. NOTHING IS FREE HERE. THERE IS DOG CRAP ALL OVER THE SIDEWALKS - THE ELEVATORS SMELL LIKE URINE AND DEAD ANIMALS. THERE IS MOLD - BLACK MOLD IN MY NEIGHBORS HOUSE - IT'S COCKROACH INFESTED - THEY LET THE TRASH OVER FLOW INTO THE STREET MONTHLY. THE MAID SERVICE (WHO SUPPOSEDLY CLEANS THE JOKE OF A CLUB HOUSE AND GYM - SUCKS. THERE ARE HAVE BEEN HAIRBALLS BEHIND THE COMPUTERS SINCE I MOVED IN 8 MONTHS AGO - THE BATHROOM WALLS HAVE PEE ON THEM. These stores are NOT made up. I wish they were as I NEVER felt safe in this complex. I moved out to a condo and I LOVE it there...it's so nice not to deal with the bartendin' scum that live at Ashford Park (which has YET to return the money they owe me!)
Goodness, you crazy people should just leave! These are most likely people who can't afford to pay their rent so they whine and complain about everything and make up slanderous stories. Please move out so I feel more comfortable living here and more nice people can move in.

Funny how this reply to my negative comments in regards to Ashford Park were challenged the same day it was posted. Just as the last negative posting was followed with a 5.0 rating the following day (titled "Good for the price-a little objectivity"). Hmmm, does anyone else feel this is someone working as a staff member at Ashford Park? ;) trying desperately to keep the "image" that they are a "luxury" apartment complex? No, issues that are never submitted will never be addressed, this is very true. But, I did call the office when I had problems (i.e. no water, noise etc) and most of the time I was treated like an inconvenience because I had something wrong. I recall calling about the water outage, that was indeed out for 24 hours because I turned my water on at 10pm the previous night and there was nothing...got home around 4:30 and the water was STILL out and didn't return until about 8pm. Anyhoo...when I called about the water not working in my apartment, I was treated poorly as I got the "Yes, we're aware [very irritated tone], we'll call you when it returns" but, as with the other water outages or issues, I never received a call when the issue was corrected. I've worked in Customer Service for seven years, and that's why I can confidently say that Ashford Park doesn't know the meaning. Now, are there nice staff members? Of course, but regardless if they are nice or not, the outcome is typically the same...nothing gets accomplished. I've never "blown up at the property" or not "kept a level head" that's merely your assumption and trying to push the issue back on the resident...which is typical of the majority of the Ashford Park's staff. Yes, renting an apartment is in a completely different realm then owning a home. That is something most people are aware of. But hearing screaming (and I do mean screaming) at 2:30am-4:00am on a weekday at least once a week is a bit extreme. This is something I REALLY wish someone had posted here before I moved in...because I doubt I would be at Ashford Park now. If I can at least help someone that has a REAL job (meaning having to keep the standard early hours of a 40 hour a week job) avoid this place, then I've helped someone out and that makes me feel a tiny bit better. Instead of trying to keep the percentage of approvals high on this website, why don't you spend the effort addressing issues at the complex? (i.e. broken elevator, broken work out equipment, open cable box in parking garage, noise, etc)
Do you really think that the community can act on these issues if they are unaware of the problems you were stating? No where in this post did you say that you spoke to the management staff. I have had similiar issues but mine were dealt with and they stopped re-occuring. Antonio seemed the same way to me as he did to you and was very understanding when I spoke to him like a human being. As a result, my issues were dealt with. Most people I have seen in the office complaining have been making a "butt" of themselves. I have been in customer service dealing with customer complaints for years in the finance/collections business. I promise that if you come to me with an issue and act calm (normal) I will be quick to deal with the issue but on the flip side if you are a jerk, I will put you off to the last second. This is why I give everone else the same respect. I am sure this is why Antonio delt with my concerns quickly. As far as the water issue.... Since I am a resident, I know you are over-exaggerating when saying it was "over 24hrs to repair". It was a grand total of about 4 hours. I contacted the deckalb county water company before blowing up the phone to the property and was told a building down the road that is under construction was the reason it was shut down..... Once again, not an issue or a reflection of the community I live in, just an unfortunate situation! Im sorry that your AC isnt working. I dont have that issue. I would be upset about that too. Maybe talk to Doug, Ive been told he is the manager at the property and would likly be the best person to speak to about getting it replaced, I dont know? Issues with noise go on at every apartment community in the country. This is no different from any other place I have lived in. That is what we get for having to rent instead of owning. Most people are not conciderate for others property or life styles. In fact, even when I did own, I had to deal with a loud neighbor that threw parties on his back deck every weekend. You have to know that finance and customer service is a 7 day a week job so even though it was weekends, it still was obnoxious! Sometimes you just cant get away from it. I dont blame this on the community, I blame it on the people and the society we live in where people dont care about anything but themselves. This is a prime example of blowing things out of perportion and not being level headed. The same reason I made my original post to begin with. If you are calm, cool, and collected and think with a level head, you will get results. I am truly sorry my experience has been better than yours.
