For me, Ivy Hall was expensive but worth it. I just moved out after living here for over two years. If you're a Georgia Tech affiliate, this place is within walking distance of the Tech campus. I either shot down north avenue or walked up peach tree to Tech Square to get to the Tech Trolly. In the summer I would jump into the pool every day after walking home or stop at the publix across the street to grab stuff for dinner. I liked not having to take my car everywhere.
The staff is really helpful when you reach out to them, and maintenance is timely and professional. The rooms have really tall ceilings, and my unit had a fantastic & spatious bathroom. Electricity for a 900 sq ft unit was 50 in winter and 90 in summer. Non electricity utilities were around 100 a month.
I liked living here. The two things I didn't like: you were required to pay 50 per month for cable. Packages were sometimes kept in the office for a few days before I was notified (although they have been much better about it recently).
