This place seemed to be okay for the first few months of my lease, but that was probably because I moved in during the winter months. I started to notice more and more bugs arond the apartments as the weather grew warmer. I am writing this review on July 4th 2010 and there are so many bugs (including roaches) that I can't stand it anymore. The kitchen is roach infested. If I go in there after it is dark and turn on the lights I can count on killing 3 or 4 roaches. I have also started to notice a few roaches in the bathroom, crawling out of the sink drain. When I complain about the problem someone is sent to put roach bait down. That obviously doesn't work. I do not keep a filthy home so I don't expect to have this filthy problem. I don't cook and I keep very little food in the fridge, since I am barely here. There are also a lot of bugs in the breeze way (flies, moths, gnats, roaches and beetles)leading to my front door because those doors are allowed to stay open 24-7. They charge a pest control fee but there are still plenty of pests. In the picture below I show how I regularly clean all of my cabinates out with bleach and soapy water, but that doesnt work either. On the up side of things, the staff is very friendly and appears to be doing their best with what they have to work with. It's a shame that they have to sell these roach infested apartments. Maintenance is very responsive whenever I have a complaint. However I would not recommend moving here, unless you don't mind roaches.
