I'd like to note that I am not one that comes here to vent, but try to paint a realistic picture for those that are seriously searching for a place like myself; nd i see they block out the cuss words. so I'll do my best to replace certain words. With that said...This place is pure-dee-poo! I went to look at the place myself, and saw the deceitfulness first hand. I see on the pictures that they show the better/nicer angles of these apartments--the front of the leasing office!! The only reason I stopped is because of the newer "looking" brick facade that adorns this place. But once you get up close and personal, you see little things such as the breezeways are old, nasty and look like walkways from a "projects" property. I look at small things when searching for a place...AND on top of that the money they wanted to charge me for this run down looking mess (2bed/2bath 1000 plus --you have to see it to understand what I mean!). Back to some of the small things I look for and noticed--the seals and wood around windows: the wood around the windows looked overly worn from the weather and some looked as if they may have even had problems with termites. The stairwells--nasty! Nasty! Nasty is all i can say. They had not been cleaned (if ever), and I dont even mean pressure washed, i am simply stating random soda bottles, store/grocery bags, potato chip bags--other pieces of trash floating around on the ground---and all of this was as I was walking in to be shown the supposedly "brand new", cleaned apartment. Back to things I look for...i know you cant control what other tenants do and how they live, but one family had EIGHT bags filled with doody baby diapers, and YES I counted and could see the diapers thru the bags. As we (the leasing agent that was semi-unprofessional & I) walked up the rickety, nasty concrete stairs to this supposedly recently cleaned apt, it smelled like pure dookey from all of those diapers and some other weird stanky smell floating in the air. As we entered the apt, the carpet was disgustingly nasty. There were dark brown dookey spots on the carpet as soon as you walk in the door. The blinds were damaged & bent. She kept boasting about the crown molding and the dirty --- fireplace. "For real lady?", is all I could keep thinking. First of all, what crown molding, and then who cares?? The walls of the other buildings that I could see within view of the model she should me all looked worn and very dirty. I'd like to note too, if youre a leasing agent no matter how ------, run down or whatever the place is you should still maintain a professional appearance at all times. This chick would rub her nose like she was trying to get every booger in town out of her nose, and would snort like a big loud --- pig afterwards. Very nasty. Back to the "brand new model" (as I was told) the carpet still had the print of someone's bed on the floor...ok so i'll give them that, that the apt hadnt been cleaned. But I see this with my own eyes, and the lady tells me (her words) "Ummm, i dont know what you were looking at b/c there were no spots and no prints on the floor! That apartment has been cleaned and is brand new!" Ok, so if its brand new, as I can clearly see it isnt, why try and make me think Im crazy or lying about what I saw with my own eyes?? Then the weather strip on the bottom of the door was torn, and hanging out. there was very big dip in the floor and I learned a long time ago that if you ever have cracks in your walls or dips in the floor, there is a problem with the building's foundation (and im a girl!!). The walls inside the apt just looked old and like they had painted over the "old" and tried hard to make them look newer. The bathroom looked like an old funky bathroom and they added a few blocks of tile to the shower wall to make it look "updated". LMAO! This place is a joke. That was another thing she kept going on about--"but did you see how updated the apt was??" Hell no lady I didnt!! She asked me at LEAST 8 times, "but what didn't you like abut the apt?" I wouldve left her behind standing there but she had my license in the office. Another pet peeve of mine--when I come in to fill out the little comp card and ALL of my personal business is on that card and you leave it sitting there WITH my license on top & out for everyone to see--I have a major problem with that! I took it upon myself to turn the card over so to hide my ID, and she actually made a sarcastic remark. That was flag #1. Flag #2 was when she kept asking my price range AFTER I had told her already 3 times, and then she hesitated to show me the place. Flag #3--that place is a dump. Period. It was about 530pm when I saw the place and the parking lot looked full. And people were steadily coming in as if they were getting in from work. The parking lot is VERY tight. I could barely get out of my car and I am a small sized person. However, i did see some addtional parking, so i cant really speak on the parking situation. BUT, it wasnt very many spaces remaining. The grounds were disgusting--once you got into the gate tho. The front of the grounds near the leasing office look decent. Construction--very old apartments. Even if they aren't, they LOOK old as hell. Staff was too casual for me, the chick I dealt with was way too unprofessional. I cant speak for the safety or the noise, b/c I dont live here. So I rated those a 2. Even if it was a last resort option I wouldnt lease here. Long story short...when we FINALLY got back to the office (no lie) i literally snatched my ID and ran out to my car. It was a very awkward moment. LMAO. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone and I'm not even a renter here! I wish I wouldve taken pictures of the place to back up my claims. Last thing...the place just looked nasty as hell. I was actually trying not to touch the door knobs. I was using my elbow instead.
