An honest review

This was my first time renting an apartment. Overall, this place was not very good. My biggest complaint is security issues. There is no gate, which makes it easy access to anyone. My roommate's car got stolen. There were several break-ins that I heard of, and we even got a letter from the management after a stick-up happened. The maintenance crew is alright. My water heater blew up and they replaced it right away; when my lock was jammed, they also replaced that right away. However, I have two huge stains in my ceiling that I have complained about. They came out and looked at them both, said they would come back and paint, but they did not. I will see if they take that out of my security deposit once my lease is up. There is always parking available, even though it is often not next to my building. The un-renovated units are laughable, but it was cheaper. The tenants are nice, and the grounds are cleaned a couple of times a week. I rented a two bedroom two bath Atlanta style for $664 total (after my roommate got us the 5% KSU discount). Our utilities varied but our water and trash service hovered around $45 and our electricity bill had a high of $165 (when we used the air conditioner) and a low of $50 (without the ac). I did not expect much, and Century Crest has met those expectations.
