Time to go...
I've lived in Wood Hollow since Feb 2006 and I won't be renewing my lease in Sep. Mainly due to the fact that for whatever reason, this complex has attracted many East Indian families. The women congregate in large groups with all their kids and wander through the complex in the middle of the road. You will also see the couples walking throughout the complex at odd hours of the night. I finally got tired of hearing that foreign language being practically yelled outside at midnight. I started to feel like I was in Pakistan or something. Another thing is that I got tired of dealing with the odor of Indian spices, body odor, and sweat, all combined when trying to use the gym while the men were in there. One of them sweated all over a treadmill that I was waiting for and did not bother to wipe down after use. I requested more than once that the management provide disinfectant for the gym equipment but no response. I got tired of smelling whatever it is that they cook everyday, at 7am. The smell just lingers in the stairwells and these are outdoor stairwells! The smell started coming through the wall from my neighbor and into my apartment!! The women would look at me like I was from outer space, as I walked to the gym in my workout clothes (simple shorts and tshirt). And they would stare blankly at me when I said hello in passing. I am moving to Dunwoody to a complex that has more diversity and a younger, professional resident selection. This complex has gone downhill and the rent increase is not worth staying here.7/10/2023
